OMG. My heart cannot take all these #earthquakes. Just nearly cried from the scare if the most recent one a few minutes ago, measured at 3.3. We’ve had over 100 aftershocks since last night’s quake and I’ve felt at least 50% of them because they are all close to me. The sharp, loud cracks and rumbling really freak me out. A 2.6 earlier was only 3 blocks away. This Texas transplant has never experienced so many scary close quakes and definitely not this many. #california #lahabra #lahabraearthquake #aftershocks #anxiety
Being 2.8 miles from the epicenter coordinates of the primary 5.1 #earthquake means that I feel a lot of aftershocks and the rattling and shaking is the strongest I’ve ever felt in #California. Lots of pre-quakes too, including a rather scary 3.6 one an hour before the big one. Even the little aftershocks are making me jumpy right now. #quake #lahabra #brea #lahabraearthquake
Heart beating and full of anxiety! The 5.1 earthquake’s epicenter is 2.8 miles from my house. No major house damage that I can tell. Just broken glass and wine. The good part is that the increased adrenaline has decreased the intense skin itching and burning I’ve been experiencing for weeks (bad immune system and immune response).
Going double-duty with the TENS unit I bought at #stitcheswest. I have so many aches and pains, it’s hard to choose which to attack first, but I guess nerve compression and numb toes should be priority one.
Blocking a simple swirl beret I made up on the fly for a belated Xmas gift for one of my models. Using a wok stand to form the shape. #knitting #knitters #knit #handknit #handmade #hats #beret
Dear lazy a-holes of Costco, these are not parking spaces. You are blocking the flow of traffic. So inconsiderate, especially when there are plenty of spaces!
This is how I feel today. Achy and tired, recovering from #stitcheswest but also needing to catch up on work missed during STITCHES. #knitting #knitter #stricken
Car-knitting during the drive home from #stitcheswest. Making a beret (belated Xmas gift) for my model in my book, Liberation. Using an alpaca silk yarn I hand-dyed a while back. #knitting #knitter #carknitting #knittingeverywhere
